Transportation
Students are responsible for their air transportation to and from Italy. Opera al Mare will be happy to help direct you to Cesenatico via public transportation, but it is ultimately the student’s responsibility to arrive to Cesenatico on or by the morning/afternoon of June 17, 2024 - activities will begin on June 18, 2024.
There will be no chartered transportation service, but information from whatever Airport/City in Italy you arrive in, to Bologna Centrale, can be found easily on the websites of Italo or Trenitalia (Italy’s two largest train services). From Bologna, the regional train leaves Bologna Centrale Station every hour toward Cesenatico.
NB:
Students must arrive in Cesenatico by the morning/afternoon of Sunday, June 17, 2024
Students must depart no earlier than Thursday, July 5, 2024
Participants are responsible for arranging transport to, and hotel accommodations for, the night of Saturday, June 16, 2024, if desired.
*Opera al Mare will not determine the students’ return tickets and would HIGHLY encourage planning a few extra days of travel around Italy if possible!
