While we love the idea of the Opera al Mare community under the same roof, we know that might not be possible (or desirable) for every participant. Considering the accessibility to Cesenatico, each participant may prefer to find their own lodging/etc. Below are the different price and participation levels available for Opera al Mare, beginning with the most complete!

Artist Tuition & Fees

Full Tuition/Full-Board - $5000.00

$2,500 (USD): Non-refundable acceptance deposit to be sent before position and role is secured
$2,500 (USD): Final Payment due on or by February 1, 2024.

The tuition includes:

  • Voice Lessons

  • Role Coachings

  • Master Classes

  • Intensive Italian Language Classes

  • Dramatic Coaching and Staging of Operas

  • Performing a full role in Italian in a staged production (with Orchestra)

  • Housing in Hotel Miramare from June 17-July 6, 2024 (19 Nights) (Exact room assignment upon arrival, but for examples visit this website)

  • Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner for the duration of the program (June 17 - July 6, 2024)

The tuition does NOT include:

  • Airfare from or to anywhere

  • Train fare from or to anywhere

  • Alcohol while at Opera al Mare

  • Any additional services offered by Hotel Miramare, or any other establishment in Cesenatico

*A credit card will be required at check-in to the hotel for incidental purchases (snacks, alcohol, etc) throughout the duration of the program.

Auditor - 50€ per day/500€ Open studio

(To be paid in cash at the beginning of the day, or with “open studio” at the beginning of the program, and the participant will be able to have access to every masterclass, rehearsal, seminar, and possibly private voice lessons - depending on the student and the teacher’s comfortability)

The tuition includes NON-PARTICIPATORY access to:

  • Role Coachings

  • Master Classes

  • Intensive Italian Language Classes

  • Dramatic Coaching and Staging of Operas

  • Private voice lessons with faculty can be arranged for additional cost

The tuition does NOT include:
